Fiambre Valluno is a traditional picnic dish, very popular during excursions and family gatherings. It consists of a complete serving of rice, stewed or fried chicken, pork or beef, hard-boiled egg, potato, ripe plantain, cassava slices, and arepa, all carefully wrapped in plantain leaves. The wrapping gives it a distinctive smoky flavor and keeps it warm for hours. It’s considered a symbol of hospitality and family unity in Valle del Cauca.
